Rhys was admitted as a Solicitor to the Supreme Court of New South Wales and the High Court of Australia in October 2015 and began working as a Solicitor at CCSG Legal in August 2016. Rhys completed a double degree in Bachelor of Laws/Bachelor of Commerce (Management) in 2014 at the University of Western Sydney and completed College of Law at the Australian National University in 2015.

Prior to joining CCSG Legal, Rhys worked primarily for insurers having carriage of matters in all areas of insurance, commercial litigation and debt recovery as well as a previous background in Conveyancing. Rhys has appeared in a range of Courts up to the Supreme Court of Appeal within the NSW jurisdiction and is eager to expand his knowledge in other jurisdictions throughout Australia.

Rhys takes an inquisitive approach to litigation and has had both carriage of matters relating to insurance fraud, building disputes, indemnity issues and contractual disputes and has also acted in a strategic advisory capacity.
